We are thrilled to announce our upcoming rooftop solar project at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate, a secondary school in Kitchener. This project marks another significant stride in our mission at the Community Energy Development Co-operative (CED Co-op) to champion renewable energy development in Ontario.
Project Highlights
850+ Solar Panels: Our rooftop solar project at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate will feature over 850 solar panels to generate clean energy for the school.
Sustainable Energy Supply: This solar energy installation will produce enough clean electricity to cover 100% of Rockway’s energy needs for decades to come.
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA): CED Co-op is taking the lead in funding the upfront project development and construction costs. Rockway Mennonite Collegiate, in turn, will be able to access the benefits of clean energy through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
