Have you ever walked through a field of solar trackers? It’s exciting to be among the panels, seeing them all move in tandem as they follow the sun’s path across the sky. Everywhere you look sunlight is being converted to clean, green electricity. What’s even more amazing is seeing the same solar system from a bird’s eye view!

Last week our technicians were in Bind River reviewing our Solvation solar projects as we prepare for commercial operation. After Ryan and Kevin were done inspecting the panels and the site they shot this incredible video. We’re excited to share this unique view of our biggest project (without driving you all up to Sudbury!)

Our largest project to date, the three Solvation sites have a combined total of over 1,300kW of solar panels. Since being installed in February they have produced 1,100MWh of power – equivalent to planting 1,500 trees or keeping 437,000kg of CO2 out of the atmosphere.

Many thanks to our Sudbury-area members for supporting renewable energy and making these projects possible!
